Doctors told Jeff Preyra he had the nastiest nasal polyps they had ever seen. Consequently, he developed some alarming symptoms: asthma, loss of smell and taste, sinus infections, lung damage, wheezing, and nosebleeds. He couldn’t breathe out of his nose at all. Even two surgeries didn’t help. He couldn’t sing in his choir group. He was too exhausted to play hockey with his friends. He literally didn’t know where his next breath was coming from. Finally, he tried a new drug that knocked out all of his seemingly untreatable symptoms. Now this family man and business owner is back to his old self.
