Jill Adelman has lived with advanced macular degeneration (AMD) for almost a decade. She lives in Washington Township, NJ, with her husband, Joe. A retired nurse, her career came to a halt soon after her AMD diagnosis. She currently spends her time as a patient advocate, watching her eight grandchildren, and traveling the globe.
