Lisa Goldman
Advocate

Lisa Goldman is a patient advocate, lung cancer survivor, and mother from Mountain View, California. At the age of 41, she was diagnosed with advanced non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and adenocarcinoma (ROS1+). She had no risk factors for lung cancer and no family history of the disease. Leading a physically fit lifestyle, Lisa had worked as a fitness instructor for seven years before her diagnosis. She rarely consumed alcohol, followed a plant-based diet for 20 years, and never smoked. Her experience highlighted the reality that anyone with lungs can get lung cancer. Lisa now dedicates much of her time to being a patient advocate, with a particular focus on supporting people with ROS1+ cancer.
