1st Trimester
In your first trimester your uterus is stretching to nurture your growing baby. The uterus starts to grow up and out of your pelvis, but still fits within it and Inside. Your baby is developing all their tiny organs as they transform from a little embryo into a fetus.
2nd Trimester
​In your second trimester, your bump is bigger as your uterus grows to accommodate your baby's growth It no longer fits inside the pelvis and is midway between the navel and breasts. Now, you’ll start to feel kicks and movement.​ The baby is getting its features, responding to sound, and opening their eyes.
3rd Trimester
In your third and final trimester, your uterus (and belly) are really big. Your uterus extends from the pubic area to the bottom of your ribs. You’ll feel lots of movement as your full-term baby is growing stronger and getting positioned for birth. As you get ready for birth your baby should drop lower into your pelvis.
