A. David Rothner, MD

A. David Rothner, MD, is on staff at The Cleveland Clinic Headache Center and is director emeritus of child neurology. As a section in the nationally recognized Cleveland Clinic Neurology Department, the Headache Section is dedicated to diagnosis and management of headache disorders, facial pain syndromes, and allied disorders. Rothner is also director of patient education for The Cleveland Clinic Foundation. His specialty interests include pediatric neurology, headache, neurofibromatosis, and epilepsy. Rothner is chairman of the Section of Pediatric and Adolescent Headache of the American Headache Society (AHS).

Rothner attended medical school at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago. His specialty training includes a fellowship at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York; an internship at Rush Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center in Chicago; and residencies at Babies Hospital, Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, and at Rush Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center.
