Amy Hemstreet, PharmD, is a Managing Editor for WebMD/Medscape and has over 20 years of experience in summarizing complex medical and drug information content for health care professionals and patients. Prior to joining the Medscape Drug Content team, she worked as a clinical pharmacist in oncology and as a clinical editor for evidence-based referential drug information products and clinical decision support tools.
Hemstreet completed her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, followed by a pharmacy practice residency (PGY1) at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. In 2019, she completed a Pharmacogenomics Certificate Program from the University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy.
