Katie Cameron is an Atlanta-based writer and health editor for WebMD. She has a Master of Science degree in narrative medicine from Columbia University, where she specialized in capturing first-person patient and practitioner narratives during the COVID-19 pandemic. Cameron also has a BA in English from The College of Wooster.
Cameron previously worked as a medical writer for the National Institutes of Health. She has been a freelance writer and editor since 2017.
Cameron enjoys running road races around Atlanta, visiting as many national parks as she can, and testing out new recipes on her friends. In her spare time, you can find Cameron and her cats working their way through the American Film Institute’s 100 greatest films of all time.
