Uses
What is Klisyri used for?
Klisyri (tirbanibulin) is commonly used to treat actinic keratosis of the face or scalp.
Klisyri may also be used for other conditions as determined by your health care provider.
How does Klisyri work (mechanism of action)?
Klisyri is classified as a microtubule inhibitor. Microtubules are involved in the process of cell growth and replication. Klisyri is applied directly to skin affected by actinic keratosis. By blocking the action of microtubules, Klisyri seems to reduce the growth of these actinic keratosis cells.
