What is Amvuttra used for?

Amvuttra (vutrisiran) is commonly used to treat nerve damage (polyneuropathy) caused by hereditary transthyretin-mediated (hATTR) amyloidosis. This medicine is also used to treat transthyretin amyloid cardiomyopathy (ATTR-CM) to reduce death, hospitalization related to heart problems, and urgent visits for heart failure.

Amvuttra may also be used for other conditions as determined by your healthcare provider.
