Vyvgart Hytrulo may also be used for other conditions as determined by your health care provider.

How does Vyvgart Hytrulo work (mechanism of action)?

Vyvgart Hytrulo works by binding to certain receptors in the body, called neonatal Fc receptors (FcRn). Binding to these receptors helps lower the amount of certain proteins in the blood called immunoglobulin G (IgG). Immunoglobulins are part of your immune system. By doing this, Vyvgart Hytrulo helps slow down the worsening of weakness in the arms and legs.

Vyvgart Hytrulo also contains an enzyme called hyaluronidase. Hyaluronidase helps the body absorb and distribute the medicine more for it to work better.

How is Vyvgart Hytrulo supplied (dosage forms)?

Vyvgart Hytrulo is available as a single-dose prefilled syringe that may be given by you or a caregiver. There are also injectable forms that are only given by a health care provider.

How should I store Vyvgart Hytrulo?

Store Vyvgart Hytrulo prefilled syringes in a refrigerator between 36 F and 46 F (2 C and 8 C) in the original carton to protect from light until you are ready to use it. Do not freeze or shake. If needed, Vyvgart Hytrulo may be stored at room temperature at up to 86 F (30 C) for up to 30 days. Only warm the prefilled syringes by letting them sit on a flat surface for at least 30 minutes. Do not use any other external heat source source. Once brought to room temperature, Vyvgart Hytrulo must be used within 30 days or thrown away. Do not put it back in the refrigerator once it has been warmed to room temperature.
