Uses

What is Niktimvo used for?

Niktimvo (axatilimab-csfr) is commonly used to treat certain people with chronic graft-versus-host disease (cGVHD). This is a long-term condition that happens after a transplant, where donor cells attack your body’s own tissues.

Niktimvo may also be used for other conditions as determined by your healthcare provider.

How does Niktimvo work (mechanism of action)?

Niktimvo works by blocking specific receptors, called colony stimulating factor-1 (CSF-1) receptors, on certain immune cells. By doing this, Niktimvo helps reduce inflammation and prevent further tissue damage in people with chronic graft-versus-host disease (cGVHD).

How is Niktimvo supplied (dosage forms)?

Niktimvo is available in an injectable form that is given by a healthcare provider.

How should I store Niktimvo?

Niktimvo is usually given by a healthcare provider in a hospital or clinic. You will not store it at home.
