Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an unpredictable disease. You may not know when your symptoms will flare up or when you’ll need help. Some flare-ups consist of numbness, weakness, loss of balance, and cognitive difficulties. Because of the unpredictability of the autoimmune disease, you may need a caregiver. These individuals will often spend time with you, helping with your daily activities.

  • How did you first feel when your caregiver started helping you?
  • Did you open up to your caregiver about what you need from them and what you can do on your own?
  • How did you overcome a time when you and your caregiver weren't seeing eye to eye?

Let us know more about how you got to know your caregiver. Was there an immediate bond, or did it take time for you to warm up to them? Tell us how your caregiver has improved your daily life. Post your response to the group and tag us on social media to keep the conversation going.
