I use 100% pure vetiver w a 10ml potency for arthritis pain. I have extensive spine problems. My neck & skull hurt a lot in the winter. I rub a few drops of vetiver on the back of my neck & then a tiny bit under my ack nose. Before long my pains gone. I've have 2 fused vertebrae in my neck. Occasionally I use it on my lower back as well. I've had a partial correction of my scoliosis with rods on either side of my spine & 2 fusions. I'm now getting ready to have my upper back corrected by... fusing the rest of my back. I thought I must be nuts to pay so much for an oil that won't work. You can imagine my surprise when it worked. I have a cologne called White Vetiver. I then saw the word Vetiver used in a magazine related to health so looked it up. I wonder if this 'root' is used in the making of this scent?
